A forest, the size of a wall.

bioQ Spaces · Specials, made for a room

The same preserved moss, made for a lobby, a boardroom or an atrium. Move across the picture and the wall changes. Type a name and it is on the plate.

What a space can hold.

Five ideas, drawn as pictures. Each is a concept: something we can build with the moss and the hands we have, not a photograph of finished work.

A boardroom table with a channel of moss running down its centre under glass
Concept image

A table

A river of moss, under glass.

A channel down the centre of the table, filled with a small landscape and covered with glass. Papers go on top of it. Eyes go into it.

An atrium with a tall hanging of moss rising three floors

An atrium · Concept image

Three floors, one hanging.

A single tall panel of moss that every floor looks onto.

An arched doorway whose inside is lined with moss

A doorway · Concept image

A doorway to nature.

The inside of an arch lined with moss, so that arriving feels like stepping into a forest.

A wall of moss carrying a grid of small blank brass name plates, one of them missing
Concept image

A wall of names

A plate for each person.

For a founding team, a twenty-five-year club, or everyone who built the place. One space is left empty, for whoever comes next.

A stage

Made for one evening, kept for years.

A backdrop with a window cut into it and moss behind, lit from within. For an awards night or a launch. Afterwards it goes on a wall.

Made so far

What is real, and what is drawn.

This panel is a photograph of finished work. The pictures above it are concepts. Before you commit to a space, we show you photographs of real moss work, so you judge the finish with your own eyes.

See pieces we have made

It stays as it is.

Preserved moss is real moss that no longer grows. That is what makes a wall of it possible indoors.

No water

No watering, no misting, no irrigation behind the wall.

No sunlight

It needs no daylight. Keep it away from direct sun and heavy humidity.

For years

Open pieces stay fresh for 3 years or more under the recommended indoor conditions.

Said plainly

We do not say it grows or cleans the air. What we claim.

From your wall to ours, and back.

The same five steps as any Special, with a drawing of your own space in the middle.
